The headquarters of an advisory mission of the European Union has opened in Kyiv

The opening ceremony was attended by foreign diplomats and heads of several ministries.

The ceremony participants noted the strategic location of the headquarters in the center of Kyiv, as well as its proximity to the agencies involved in the civil security sector reform in Ukraine.

Mission experts helped in the implementation of several projects under the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. In particular, experts from the European Union participated in the experiment of combining units road patrol and traffic police patrol that was held at the police station in the city of Khmelnitsky. Experts of the Advisory Mission also participated in the development strategy of the police.

Aspects of future cooperation between the EU Mission and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine will discuss during the bilateral meeting to be held soon.
