On October 26, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko participated in a round table meeting chaired by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatzenyuk. The meeting was dedicated to the visit of US Trade Minister Penny Pritzker and representatives of the US business to Ukraine.
During the meeting the parties discussed prospects of the trade and economic cooperation with the USA which could attract new investments to Ukraine serving as a major driver for the country’s economic recovery.
Another point of the discussion was the further cooperation with leading US companies and corporations including Westinghouse Cargill, NCH Capital Inc., Citibank, Honeywell, DuPont European Region & Canada and others whose managers were present at the meeting.
«I am glad to see the interest of potential investors for the Ukrainian economy. Our top priority is about structural reforms aimed to secure the fastest possible recovery of the Ukrainian economy and thus to improve the environment for investors in our country», Natalie Jaresko said.
US Trade Minister Penny Pritzker emphasized the importance of the open dialogue on the Ukrainian reform plan and stressed the importance of long-term relations between the two countries as well as outlined prospects for cooperation in trade and investments.
