We focus on reforms and prolong a dialogue with international partners, says Prime Minister of Ukraine during a meeting with YES Board

The Government of Ukraine sticks to the reform policy, primarily in the economic sector, and is determined to prolong a constructive dialogue with international partners, inter alia with the International Monetary Fund. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced at a meeting with members of the Board of the Yalta European Strategy (YES). A large YES team is staying in Ukraine to prepare the 15th annual conference scheduled for September this year.
The Head of Government briefed the party about the current economic situation in Ukraine. "We focus on reforms - in the economy, the public sector, decentralization, and the reform of the civil service," told Volodymyr Groysman.

He stressed that a milestone in work is strong economic growth, which will allow not only to realize the potential of Ukraine but to become the key to effective solution of the debt burden in the system of public finance.
"We continue our cooperation with the IMF. And in this context, we expect the adoption of laws necessary to launch the work of the anti-corruption court. It will be a signal that Ukraine is determined to curb corruption", said the Prime Minister.
The continuation of reforms in the energy sector is undisputable as well, primarily in the framework of energy saving, the formation of a transparent gas market and the development of domestic gas production, as well as in the state-owned sector with new management principles being introduced and independent supervisory boards established.
The YES Board team invited the Head of Government to participate in the conference due in September and expressed their readiness to continue supporting Ukraine.
